I am looking at EtsyRank.com for my NellieLaan.com shop on Etsy, or https://www.etsy.com/shop/nellielaan and it says I am not mentioned anywhere which affects my numbers and SEO ?? so much to consider when setting up shop! But I also did find Scottsmarketplace and will see about selling there as well, fingers crossed, NellieLaan on Scott's here.

So I am working on my renewed online presence and back on the handmadeartists site as Nellielaan but I am having trouble with the shop name, it is long! I will have to look into that. A lot of good people there. I also noticed people have been sending messages there, not sales though! I don't think those went to my mailbox and I am not sure I responded so I had to thank people who included me in highlight and gave me compliments years ago! My job the last few years really got the best of. Moving to Pahao/Big Island was a lot too and our stuff is not even here yet. Some things to do around here on the Big Island. I am growing lettuce and tomatoes and watercress for instant gratification, there is also a pineapple patch, but I did not have to do anything to do for that, just waiting now for them to ripen! Now I need my drivers licence again. The Hele On bus does not make stops close by.

I am trying to work on selling some things  but that is not my favorite part, making things is! So took some pictures in the yard and set up a temporary work space, that futon box makes a great table, and what a view

I just moved to Pahoa/Leilani Estates on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is gorgeous but most of my things are still being moved so will have to wait with what I can post and where as far as artwork is concerned. Seed beaded fantasy butterflies to warm up this winter

Today it was cold and grey out over here, so I worked on some fantasy butterflies, bead embroidery and backed with leather. Someone I met through Painting with a Twist makes nice leather items and although I prefer vegan leather, her scrap leather has been nice to finish my smaller bead embroidered pendants with. I use dropbox to easily transfer my images but notice my crops did not save. Will have to investigate, it did save on my phone.

Hawaii moving date set, Pahoa, Leilani Estates in the future!

Winter is still happening here in Philadelphia, PA, but my one way ticket to Hilo has been purchased and notice given at the job!
Still not sure how it all can be moved and fit in a container. My Richie says he can make it all fit in a 20 foot container, his audio studio, and mine, loom knitting machines, too much yarn, projects.
All the furniture is pretty much gone. Donated, tossed and left behind in the old house. Emptying out a 5 bedroom 3 floor brownstone was a challenge and I was worried for weeks after that the buyer would call and tell us we had some more things to take out. Like the giant tv, big and square and heavy, stuck on the second floor. Antique cabinets that were there when we moved in.
But they tore the place up and are, hopefully, restoring it to its historic glory.
But the new place near Leilani is gorgeous! It is weird that it has carpet in such a tropical and damp climate but we can deal with that later. I already know where I want my studio, a room where I can close the door and leave the mess behind. And I am sure some other rooms will be invaded by projects, beads and yarn.
I was going to put some things on Etsy for Valentines, but alas, it did not happen since I lost some parts to my Foldio lightbox, the back drops mainly. Maybe next year, and love and hearts are always in style, right? :)

Just added some shirts, trying to clean house, but nobody is buying.
Same goes for the actual house, lots of lookers, no bids!

I have been cleaning up and taking pictures of random items still stores in bins in the house. I am so glad I found this triangular wall hanging because I had an even larger one that I gave away to a good cause/auction, and have not been able to knit another one due to loom knitter issues. still needs work and better pictures (always!) but a good place and very supportive of
all things handmade

So I was  a member of the Etsy Beadweaver team and tried to follow their requirements, but I have not been too enthused with Etsy because there also seem to be a lot of talented Chinese sellers who need to make a lot less money of a product than I do. Nothing wrong with that, but better work on my own website (s) and list/post things there instead.
So I try and be supportive and vote in the challenges they have, but participating in a challenge I have not done according to the requirements either ( at least once a year). Working all day, at night we just want to play and do whatever. So someone started a Facebook team page and I thought, great, encouraging and like minded people. But the administrator (?) excluded me from the group as soon as I mentioned how nice it was, because I don't have much time, and it got a thumbs up, and then I got deleted. Ouch. Real encouraging that was, way to set me straight and get me motivated! Motivated to not want to join groups that is.
